International Assembly of God was planted in Phoenix, Arizona in August, 1997 with a vision of Pastor Roy Cheriyan who was then a Bible School student in Chicago, when the migrants from India were very negligible in the state. The church is founded on Jesus Christ the eternal Rock. We are committed to - the sound Pentecostal doctrines, the great vision & passion for saving souls by exemplifying the love of Christ and interceding for the needy.

We welcome all language groups from India. We practice a very lively praise & worship in Malayalam & English. Also, we try and accommodate Hindi & Tamil songs for our multi-linguistic congregation members. Presently we have attendees from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Bhopal, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra etc.

We conduct Sunday School for all age groups with a very systematic curriculum. We have an in-depth Bible Study for adults in the main auditorium concurrent with our other Sunday school classes.

We have several teams in Junior and Teen Bible Quiz (JBQ and TBQ) which competes against other churches in Arizona. We have several award winners in all our teams. Our Teen Bible Quiz (TBQ) team are award winners in the state of Arizona for the past several years. Our teams are being selected in the Regional competitions too.

Our youth group is vibrant & has been an encouragement for others in their own age group. They do have youth meetings every month which include fasting prayers and intercessory prayer times. When they lead in worship, truly the heaven come down.

We have cell group in Mesa/Gilbert area. Every Thursday, we come together in one of the homes in the area to have intercessory prayers and worship.

We have launched a branch in Tucson close to the University of Arizona. Many youngsters and families are joining there to worship the King of Kings. Every Sunday at 6 pm we gather and you can get the location from the Pastor.

Also, we have launched a new branch church in West Valley focusing the Asians in the area. Currently, many Bhutan people are joining in the worship which is held at 6 pm on every Sunday.

The vision and mission of the church is very simple – “To plunder hell and populate Heaven” - be a soul winning church. Our mission is to reach out to the people and spread the life changing gospel to the whole world. Our congregation comprises of new born Christians from other religions and denominations. Our mission is to equip and empower the new generation to hand over the mantle which God had given to our fathers.

In order to reach the communities, we have cell groups in different cities, women's ministries in different areas, Sunday school for all ages, a lively Spirit filled praise & worship, in-depth preaching and teaching of the word of God. We are a friendly, family-oriented church and we invite you to visit and experience the touch of the Lord.
